Pitt County Family Development Corp.,Inc did a workshop for the Village on December the 14, 2021. The workshop included a boxed lunch provided by Subway, Cassandra Tyson. an Independent Beauty Consultant, discussed taking care of your skin, especially your hand. She donated hand lotion for a massage. PCFD provide a bag with self-care products and a workbook focusing on self-esteem and empowerment exercises.
A workshop was provided for women experiencing domestic violence. The main focus was about survival and developing coping skills. A bag was given to the women that included resource, a diary and pen, self care goody bag and some healthy snacks.
RHCC - The Village offers inpatient and outpatient services for women with alcohol and/or substance addiction. The program includes maternal programs, 12-step meetings, group support, access to medical care facilities and more. Pitt County Family Development Corp,Inc. did a Lunch and Learn on December 14, 2021 via Zoom. The workshop was interactive and skill driven. The group had lunch and was left with resources, and a swag bag of self care products.
